WONDROUS VIGAN

   

 Here in the Philippines, celebrating festivals is one of our culture.it has been going on for years and years, celebrating it is fun and festive. However, when the pandemic started, it has been very difficult to celebrate a festival. 

    One of the festivals that are being celebrated here in Vigan is the Longganisa Festival. It is held every January 22 wherein there is a longganisa-themed parade and other events as well. But now that we are in the middle of a pandemic, it is very difficult to celebrate it. However, the government of Vigan City is doing what they can do to celebrate the Vigan City Festival without breaking the health protocols. Festivals in Vigan lasts for days and lots of tourists are celebrating it with the People of Vigan. There are different activities held like street dancing performances, carnivals, food fairs, more. 

    Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, a lot of people are missing the way the Festivals were being celebrated before. But I hope that this year, everything would go back to normal so we can celebrate festivals like we did before.
