Letter To The President
Dear President Duterte,
I am writing this
letter because I would like to thank u for the good things you have done to our
country but I also would like to complain about a lot of things that you have
done that had a bad effect on our country; not just on our country but also to
the citizens who live in it.
I, as a human being,
would like to point out that violence is not the answer in solving a problem.
Violence maybe another way to end crimes but that isn’t the only way on stopping
crimes. There’s a possibilities that a criminal might still change and if you,
as the President will kill them, you are taking away their chance on changing
or to become a better person. If you want criminals to pay for their crimes,
there is many ways to do it and not just violence. And again, because you are
the President and you tolerate this kind of doing, many people might be
influenced and think that violence is okay. I also would like to remind you
that just because you have the power to do things, doesn’t mean what you are
doing is right.
I’m writing this
letter as a concern citizen, people deserve a second chance. I hope you’ll do
the right thing next time so that people would agree with you. And I hope you
do it because you want to do it, not because you want to gain power. But if you
don’t, then I hope a better President will come soon.
Sincerely,
Joshfer Raquepo
Hi Joshfer, I like your honesty in writing this letter and I respect your thoughts about the President. I also admire your concern that you showed for our country and your fellow Filipinos.
